Fettercairn’s ethos of pushing boundaries has always been realised by the people who work here. As our Distillery Manager, Stewart Walker says:

Stewart Walker
Distillery Manager
Born and raised in Fettercairn, Stewart joined the distillery team in 1990 and has held almost every position here, becoming Distillery Manager in 2015.
The key driver behind the Fettercairn 200 Club, Stewart is passionate about using the best locally sourced ingredients and fostering a true collaboration with our suppliers.
Gregg Glass
Master Whisky Maker
A hands-on maker and blender, Gregg has been one of the great innovators in whisky for the last decade, joining our team in 2016. He relishes getting his hands dirty; sourcing and creating casks, working at cooperages, distilleries and cask warehouses, cask sampling and conducting extensive trials in a bid for perfection.
Gregg respects the tradition and the historical and cultural aspects of the Scotch whisky industry, while understanding in the importance of an inquisitive and innovative outlook. He was named Master Distiller of the Year by Icons of Whisky in 2023.


Andrew Lennie
Single Malt Specialist
Andrew joined our team in 2019 and works as the Global Single Malt Specialist for Fettercairn. With a background in bartending and international cocktail competitions, he brings a wealth of industry expertise to his role.
Andrew is dedicated to developing and sharing the rich heritage and stories of Fettercairn across the world. In 2024, he was honoured as Scotland’s Global Whisky Ambassador of the Year by Whisky Magazine’s Icons of Whisky awards.
Kelly Anderson
Brand Home Manager
Kelly is from Fettercairn with a family history in the village that stretches back further than the distillery itself, as a result she has plenty local knowledge of the people and place and many a tale to tell.
Kelly has worked across a range of sectors throughout her adult life; including hospitality and higher education. She enjoys meeting new people from all across the world, and sharing the rich, interesting, and ongoing story of Fettercairn whisky.


Claire Sabiston
Brand Home Manager
Born and raised in the area, Claire has always had a deep connection to Fettercairn, with her mother attending school just down the road from the distillery and her father exchanging old Fettercairn whisky with a stillman friend.
After spending 15 years in the hospitality sector, Claire joined our team in 2019. She is dedicated to putting our hidden gem of a distillery on the map and bringing it to life for guests from all over the world.
